I (Jamie) acquired a couple yards of the below fabric...Can you tell what's on it?! Scottie dogs! Apparently, fabric with Cocker Spaniel's (we have a Cocker) on it is hard to come by. And I'm even trying a new pattern....We have a couple of different patterns for aprons but I've only tried the "basic" pattern. There will definitely be pictures! Sorry about the weird angle on the picture of the fabric....Blogger did something funky with my picture.
This is my (Jamie's) completed froggy apron...Totally an experiment that I will be using around our house....It's literally held together with about 4 different colors of thread.
How cute are those froggies?! Not much of a pink kinda girl but I really like this print and love how the apron turned out...4 different colors of thread and all!
This is my (Jamie) first attempt at sewing since the 8th grade...For the record I just turned 25 last Saturday, so it's been awhile since I've sat down at the sewing machine.
Here are my frogs all cut out and ready to be sewn...Did not notice that my frogs were upside down. These are my frogs all sewn up....I realized about 1/2 way through the sewing that the frogs were upside down. Who needs right side up frogs anyway?!
These photo's are of the colors that will be available through Little Norway....We've decided on Black, Brown and possibly a Sagey Green color. The photo's themselves are of our kid sized apron's after they've been cut out and haven't really had anything else done to them yet. Keep checking back to see what becomes of these "diamonds in the rough."
This is our adult size apron proto-type. The color is black and there is a strip of pink/black plaid across the top of the apron. The apron itself is not finished yet, it still needs to have the ties added to it but it's almost ready.
